About the location:
On an exclusive island in the heart of the Kingdom’s capital, Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, with its unique architecture, has become an iconic landmark that soars as a destination in its own right, combining the best of a beach holiday and an urban getaway.What you will do
- Supervising the day-to-day operations for the pools (In-door and Out-door).
- Ensure that attendants and servers provide only the best service to our guests.
- Supervise the consistency of quality and efficiency of Health Club including the swimming pools.
- To maintain a safe and hazard free environment for all staff and members and promote safety awareness at all times.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the fitness area and pools.
- Ensure all equipment is kept in perfect working condition and reports any deficiencies to the proper department.
- Work closely with Engineering to maintain proper water quality, mechanical operation of the swimming pools and fitness equipment maintenance.
- Order supplies and amenities to ensure the Poolside par level allow for smooth operation.
- To perform all lifeguard duties according to safety needs includes First Aid and CPR in addition to other operation requirements while enforcing pool rules and regulations.
- Ensure compliance of daily opening/closing checklists for pools and fitness. keeping an accurate and up-to-date records and statistics
- To train, schedule, monitor employee performance, discipline and complete payroll for all personnel who report to him/her.
- To participate in member fitness assessment, consultation and follow-up programs.
- Executing all fitness activities including fitness classes and swimming lessons in agreement with the Spa Manager.
- Comfortable to work outdoors in times of extreme climate.
- To assist the Spa Manager in providing, monitoring and developing the effectiveness of service for the exercise classes, members club, fitness assessment and aquatics.
- To participate in all fitness sponsored member and corporate events.
- Responsible of Pool tests records effectively, and pool vacuuming process to maintain pools clarity.
- To develop all operation manuals for department and implement training programs to ensure the growth of the department.
- To keep the Spa Manager informed about the department, all employees' performance, guests and members concerns and comments.
- To convey clear instructions and guidance to staff and establish working relationships that attains a high level of effective employee morale.
- To respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
What you bring
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Understanding of the purpose and reasons for internal controls.
- Understand and be familiar with hotel quality standards and service standards.
- Strong commitment to service.
- CPR Certification
- Valid lifeguard license.
