Position Summary
The
Refrigeration Technician
is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. The technician will work across various industrial and commercial facilities to provide high-quality service that meets Zamil’s standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration units, chillers, cold rooms, and display cases.

Replace or repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and other refrigeration components.

Check and maintain refrigerant levels, handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental standards.

Calibrate thermostats, controls, and sensors for proper system operation.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.

Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Prepare service reports, record work performed and communicate findings to supervisors or clients.

Assist in training junior technicians and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Technical Diploma or Certificate in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Technology.

Minimum
3–5 years of experience
in refrigeration maintenance and repair (preferably in commercial or industrial sectors).

Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, controls, and electrical systems.

Familiarity with various refrigerants (e.g., R22, R134a, R410A, R407C, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Valid Saudi driving license (preferred).
