Job Overview:
The Regional Tech Manager will oversee EEG Technicians in their assigned region. The Regional Tech Manager is responsible for the hiring, supervision, ongoing training and development of assigned EEG Technicians. Also responsible for traveling with EEG Technicians to patients homes, observing the Technicians technical skills, customer service skills and overall acumen in setting up or disconnecting a patient. Responsible for dealing with escalated patient issues. Also responsible for performing EEG set ups and disconnects when business needs dictate.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the hiring, training, development and mentorship of all EEG technicians in assigned region

Overall accountability for the requisition, care and maintenance of unit inventory, equipment and supplies

Travel with EEG Technicians and observe set ups and disconnects. Provide ongoing training and coaching to Technicians to improve technical skills and communication skills

Will perform set ups and disconnects from time to time to meet patient volume spikes or to assist when staffing shortages exist

Recommend and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures designed to improve operational efficiency

Oversee various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance evaluation, coaching and counseling

Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to ensure patient needs are met

Effectively interact with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare workers

Work within the scope of the American Society of EEG Technology guidelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Handle escalated patient issues

Must adhere to HIPAA regulations and Company Confidentiality and Code of Conduct

Must adhere to False Claims Whistleblower Rights, Stark Law and Anti-Kickback regulations

Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelors Degree preferred

Minimum of 5 years experience in EEG clinical setting

Minimum of 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a clinical setting

Available to travel overnight, up to 50% to remote sites as needed

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word and Excel
