Registered Nurse/PCU

Job Opportunity in Wilmington, NC

Join our dynamic healthcare team in the beautiful coastal city of Wilmington, NC. We are seeking skilled professionals to provide exceptional patient care in our Progressive Care Unit.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor
• Experience with Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Arterial line management
• Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Charge Experience
  
  

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 36 hours only
• Contract: 13-26 weeks accepted
• Weekend Requirement: 4 per 4 weeks
• Float Requirement: Will follow unit rotation
• Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignment may be required
  
  

Patient Diagnoses:

• Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, CAD, Endocarditis, Cardiomyopathy
  
  

Special Procedures:

• CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, Mitral Clip, VATS, Pacemaker placements
  
  

Special Equipment:

• Arterial lines, Doppler, Bladder scanner, EKG
  
  

Unit Systems:

• Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
  
  

Additional Information:

• Unit Orientation: 24 hours
• Scrubs: Navy
• Interview Availability: Provide availability for the next 72 hours
