Job Purpose:

The candidates will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and developing the Commercial Real Estate portfolio as per agreed objectives. Additionally, the role should focus on increasing profitability and improving overall credit quality.

Key Accountabilities:

• Endeavor to increase new relationships with high standards of customer service and delivery.
• Achieve assigned annual targets for both assets & liabilities, including new relationships.
• Ensure accurate analysis of customer requests.
• Prepare an annual target list in consultation with the HOD.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and integrity in dealings with customers and colleagues.
• Ensure effective follow-up and monitoring of accounts to avoid downgrading and delinquency.
• Achieve assigned portfolio profitability through increasing limit utilization, fees, commissions, and ancillary business.
• Ensure a well-diversified portfolio and avoid concentration.
• Visit clients' premises at least quarterly.

Key Skills:

• Strong analytical skills.
• High proficiency in risk management.
• Knowledge of the latest developments in the UAE market and banking industry.
• Ability to work hard under pressure and meet requirements.
• Knowledge of banking practices and theories: Central Bank regulations and procedures.
• Minimum 6-7 years of banking experience in corporate banking with relationship management.

Language Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.

Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) has been serving society since 1975, providing banking services to individuals and companies. Established by an Amiri decree issued by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qassimi, a member of the Supreme Council & Ruler of Sharjah, the bank was originally founded as the National Bank of Sharjah and transitioned to Islamic banking in 2002.
