We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Procurement Specialist to drive our renewable energy supply solutions for commercial and industrial (C&I) consumers through open access arrangements. Based in Gurugram, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing procurement strategies, managing key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy adoption in India and work with a dynamic team.
What We're Looking For:

Expertise in developing and executing procurement strategies for renewable energy.

A solid understanding of Group Captive transactions, banking and energy settlement mechanisms, as well as inter and intra-state open access transactions.

Experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Shareholding agreements on behalf of the offtaker.

Knowledge of regulatory provisions for procuring renewable energy across various states in the country.

Familiarity with Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and International Renewable Energy Certificates (iRECs).

Skills in analyzing market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Proficiency in Excel for developing and managing complex models.
Experience :

You are passionate about customer needs and energy management consulting.

BEE or AEE certified Energy Managers & Auditors certification will be preferred
.

MTech or B Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Power Systems, or equivalent* .
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Energy Consulting role with Buildings and Industry segments

Sound knowledge on various Energy efficiency standards and Govt Energy regulations.

Strong focus on customer service and quality

Strong communication skills and Documentation experience

Ability to work effectively in a global team while in remote locations

Proven ability to learn quickly, multi-task and handle pressure to meet tight deadlines

Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Proven ability to be self-motivated and take personal ownership of an issue and get the job done

Ability to negotiate and manage scheduling and resource requirements

Strong understanding of electrical terminology and concepts
