Job Summary
Support the Shore based HR team by performing administrative duties related to HR employee requests and inquiries, onboarding new employees, initiating job changes, writing employment letters, submitting unemployment claims, submitting Workday transactions (job changes, promotions, transfers), and promoting HR initiatives.
Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Contract length - Mid November 2025 - April 2026
  • Supports a wide range of HR duties from onboarding to day-to-day administration.
  • Acts as a support system and works closely with the Sr HR Business Partners for all functions.
  • Liaise with HR Manager on ad hoc projects (ex. Annual Intern Program, Audit Contingent Worker Headcount).
  • Use Workday application to initiate transactions (job changes, promotions, transfers), and track completion.
  • Manage Contingent Worker hires/end temporary assignments.
  • Exposure to HR best practices and company polices/procedures while working towards becoming an HR professional.
  • Some recruiting may be required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or another related field. Equivalent relevant experience accepted in lieu of formal education
  • 2 - 5 years' experience in HR or another related field. Oil and gas experience is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Basic proficiency in Workday application preferred
  • Knowledge of HR practices and principles
