Product Development & Innovation

• Develop and optimize formulations for dry mix products including:
• Decorative plasters and colored renders
• Skim coats, putties, and repair mortars
• Tile adhesives, grouts, screeds, and waterproof mortars
• Water-repellent and polymer-modified systems
• Evaluate raw materials (cement, sand, fillers, pigments, HPMC, RDP, defoamers, water repellents, etc.) for performance and compatibility.
• Collaborate with suppliers (e.g., Wacker, Kale Kimya, Lanxess) for trials of new additives and polymers.
• Develop cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality and durability.
• Conduct pilot batching and coordinate with production for scale-up trials.

2. Quality & Performance Testing

• Establish and supervise laboratory testing protocols for:
• Compressive and flexural strength (ASTM C109 / EN 196)
• Adhesion, water absorption, workability, open time, shrinkage
• Water-repellency (contact angle, absorption test), efflorescence, UV stability
• Define quality control parameters to ensure consistent batch-to-batch performance.
• Investigate field complaints, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.

3. Technical Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain detailed formulation records, test reports, and MSDS.
• Prepare and update Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Application Guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, EN, PSQCA, and other relevant standards.
• Support product certification and third-party testing.

4. Collaboration & Training

• Work closely with production, sales, and application teams to ensure product feasibility and field performance.
• Conduct technical training for sales/application teams and contractors.
• Provide technical input for marketing materials, brochures, demos, and presentations.

5. Continuous Improvement & R&D

• Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and new technologies in construction chemicals.
• Propose and execute R&D projects focused on:
• Durability enhancement
• Pigment stability and UV resistance
• Moisture control and anti-crack improvement
• Sustainable formulations (low VOC, recycled fillers)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs130,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
