Resource Development Manager

Position Summary

The Resource Development Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing comprehensive fundraising and development programs to support the organization’s mission. Responsibilities include donor development, annual giving programs, special events, direct mail campaigns, and sponsorship development. The role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong knowledge of fundraising strategies, donor relations, and marketing communications.

Key Responsibilities

Donor Management:

Cultivate, maintain, and expand relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and the Board.

Develop and implement strategies for donor cultivation, stewardship, and retention

Maintain and optimize donor database for accurate tracking and reporting

Design and manage donor development programs, annual giving campaigns, and direct mail initiatives

Event sponsorship and Fundraising

HWP holds 2-3 fundrasing events annually, with many organizations holidng fundraisers on our behalf

Support 3rd party fundraising (restaurant nights, 3rd party event support)

Lead efforts to secure sponsorships for events, campaigns, and initiatives

Plan and execute special events to achieve fundraising objectives.

Promote and support Board involvement in fundraising activities.

Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fundraising plan aligned with organizational goals.

Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to create compelling donor communications and campaign messaging.

Maintain and optimize CRM software for donor/prospect tracking; provide reports and analysis to leadership.

Monitor fundraising trends and recommend innovative strategies.

Successfully meet or exceed annual financial fundraising goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
