Job Summary
We are seeking a well-presented, friendly, and communicative Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The Hostess will manage the flow of the dining room, handle reservations, and ensure every guest receives a warm and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Manage the waiting list and seating chart to ensure smooth guest flow.
- Handle all reservation inquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and booking platforms (ServMe, Seven Rooms, Open Table etc).
- Confirm bookings, record special requests, and coordinate with the team to prepare for upcoming reservations.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the reception and entrance area.
- Communicate guest preferences or concerns to the service team and managers.
- Assist with answering guest questions regarding menu items, promotions, or restaurant information.
- Support the service team during busy periods when needed.
- Follow company grooming standards, policies, and service procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Confident, polite, and comfortable handling guest interactions.
- Ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
