Job Description

A fine dining restaurant, renowned for its exceptional culinary offerings, elegant ambiance, and impeccable service. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in upholding our reputation for excellence, ensuring our guests experience world-class service every time they dine with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience: Ensure all guests have a memorable dining experience by providing exceptional service and overseeing front-of-house operations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and train a diverse team of waitstaff, bartenders, and hosts. Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations including staffing, inventory management, scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
  • Financial Management: Monitor the restaurant's financial performance, including budgets, cost controls, and achieving sales targets.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure the restaurant adheres to all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Customer Relations: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and tact, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration with Culinary Team: Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate private events, special dinners, and catering services, ensuring all logistical needs are met.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a management position within a stand-alone fine dining restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with both guests and staff. Ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically.
  • Customer Service Focused: Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high service standards.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and managing costs.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in overseeing every aspect of restaurant operations to ensure flawless service.
  • Flexible Schedule: Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
