Position Summary: As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations to ensure that our guests receive top-notch service. You will lead, train, and motivate our staff, manage daily operations, and work to create a welcoming and efficient environment for both guests and employees.

Ideal Candidate Background: The ideal candidate will have a background in full service, casual restaurant operations. Experience in bar centric concepts is a plus. Fast food/Fast Casual experience will not qualify for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience:

  • Ensure that all guests receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor and enhance the guest experience by observing service and quality of food and beverage

Guest Experience:

  • Recruit, train, and develop front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs within budgetary guidelines.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and control expenses related to front-of-house operations.
  • Assist in developing and managing budgets and financial plans.
  • Analyze sales and service performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for weekly inventory and to ensure costs are aligned with budget

Team Leadership:

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for service and professionalism.
  • Encourage and implement team initiatives to improve service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Service Manager in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Knowledge of service protocols, health and safety regulations, and hospitality best practices.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
