Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process transactions accurately ensuring both products and payments are punched correctly to reduce stock and money variances.
  • Deliver a friendly, welcoming environment for all customers.
  • Flexible in both working hours and positions to be available to work across any day in the week, within the three main sections of the store.
  • Upsell wherever possible to drive average transaction value, included but not limited to promotional items, impule purchases, bottle to case upselling, add ons.
  • Assist in refilling shelves, maintaining store standards before, during and after operational hours, including the cashier till point area.
  • Stock counting upon the request of management including one monthly stock count after close.
  • Follow and fulfill other reasonable requests from supervisor, team leader, sales advisor, assistant retail manager, or retail manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Cash and card handling experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Upselling at point of purchase or shop flow experience.
  • Flexible in working days and times.
  • Positive and outgoing attitude towards the working environment and that can rub off on both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Eye for detail an accuracy especially in fast paced environments, to ensure control is maintained.
  • Arabic a bonus but not essential.
  • Liquor experience a bonus but not essential.
