Retail Sales Executive

• Customer engagement & service
• Greet customers as they enter the store, make them feel welcome and assisted.
• Understand customers’ needs (what they are looking for, their preferences) and guide them to suitable products.
• Provide accurate information about products: features, pricing, after-sales/support. resources.
• Handle enquiries, complaints, returns in a professional, timely manner.
• Sales & achieving targets
• Use persuasive selling techniques (upselling, cross-selling) to maximise revenue. expertia.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets/KPIs.
• Promote ongoing specials, loyalty programmes, store promotions to drive sales.
• Product/merchandise management
• Maintain product knowledge: new arrivals, stock levels, promotions.
• Organise merchandise displays so the store looks attractive, and is easy to navigate.
• Restock shelves, monitor inventory, report when items are low or missing.
• Transactions & operational duties
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process sales, returns, refunds accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and stock.
• Keep the store environment clean, organised, safe (floors, displays, signage).
• Teamwork and communication
• Collaborate with team members, store managers, and other departments (e.g., inventory, marketing) to hit sales & service goals.
• Report customer feedback, competitor activity, product issues up the chain.

Skills & Qualities Required

To perform well as a Retail Sales Executive, you’d typically need:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — being friendly, approachable, clear.
• Customer-focus: understanding and prioritising the customer’s needs.
• Basic numeric/mathematical ability for handling transactions and cash.
• Ability to handle pressure, targets and a fast-paced environment.

• Teamwork: working well with others and contributing to the store’s overall performance.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
