Job Title: General Manager – Horticulture & Landscaping (Retired Colonel Preferred)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced General Manager, preferably a Retired Colonel, to lead and manage the end-to-end operations of our horticulture and landscaping company. The selected candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a results-driven approach to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery and organizational excellence.

Note: Only candidates who retired between 2017 and 2023 will be considered. CVs falling outside this range will not be entertained.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning:

• Formulate and implement strategic business and operational plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams including horticulture, design, execution, and maintenance units.

Operations & Project Oversight:

• Supervise all project phases from planning through execution and delivery.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure efficiency and quality.

Team Management & Training:

• Instill military-grade discipline, professionalism, and work ethics across the workforce.
• Provide mentorship and training to promote continuous development and accountability.

Client & Vendor Relations:

• Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, government agencies, suppliers, and partners.
• Ensure that all services meet or exceed client expectations in terms of aesthetics, sustainability, and compliance.

Compliance & Safety:

• Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements.

Financial Oversight:

• Manage budgets, cost control measures, and financial reporting.
• Optimize resource utilization to enhance profitability and project margins.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Only Retired Colonel.
• Mandatory Retirement Period: Between 2017 and 2023.
• Background in Engineering Corps, Logistics, or Operations is highly desirable.
• Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or facility/construction management is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Horticulture, or a related field.
