Risk Analyst (Banking)

Job description:

• Mandatory details/Skills – Knowledge of core concepts of risk control and risk management at Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Level, BCP and Disaster Recovery
• Support RCSA execution to identify risks, evaluate controls, and ensure mitigation actions are properly followed up on across the organization.
• Record operational incidents, conduct root cause analysis, prepare detailed incident reports, and track implementation of corrective actions.
• Calculate provisions according to IFRS9 and UAE Central Bank requirements, and stay current with all regulatory changes, guidelines, and circulars from government authorities.
• Review credit and investment proposals, analyze portfolio data, conduct stress testing and scenario analysis, and provide recommendations on acceptance or rejection based on company policies.
• Conduct BCP and BIA across business units, ensure DR/BCP test readiness, and assist in reviewing and updating all departmental policies and procedures to align with risk management requirements.
