Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid Medical Council Registration.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hospital/ emergency care (freshers with good clinical skills may be considered).
- Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for outreach activities when required.
- Ability to work in shifts including nights, weekends, and on-call duties
- Conduct patient rounds, monitor vitals, review treatment plans, and ensure timely documentation.
- Assist consultants during examinations, procedures, and emergency cases.
- Ensure correct and timely administration of medication and treatments.
- Coordinate with nursing and supporting teams for smooth patient care delivery.
- Handle medical emergencies and initiate life-saving protocols until specialist arrives.
KeyResponsibilities:
Clinical Care – In-Hospital
- Provide round-the-clock medical care to admitted patients.
Emergency & ICU Support
- Attend casualty and critical care cases promptly.
- Stabilize patients and coordinate referrals when needed.
Outreach & Community Engagement
- Participate in hospital outreach activities such as health camps, screenings, awareness sessions, and patient mobilization.
- Liaise with community health workers, field coordinators, and NGOs.
- Maintain records of outreach activities, referrals, and patient follow-ups.
- Support telemedicine or home-care visits when required.
Medical Records & Compliance
- Maintain accurate case-history sheets, discharge summaries, and progress notes.
- Ensure adherence to standard medical protocols, infection control, and NABH guidelines.
- Follow hospital policies related to patient safety, ethics, and confidentiality.
