A Day in the Life of an RN-Clinic

In this role, the RN oversees patient care, particularly in the Coumadin clinic, providing essential assessments, education, and interventions as per established protocols. Responsibilities include administering medications and vaccines, performing a variety of medical tests and procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR). The RN serves as a vital communication link between patients, physicians, and other healthcare departments, facilitating a seamless patient experience. Collaboration with other nursing staff, CMAs, and LPNs is crucial for maintaining efficient clinic operations and patient flow. Additionally, this role involves representing the nursing department in communal efforts like chronic disease management and Quality Committee meetings.

Education and Experience

Required

• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Minnesota RN license

Preferred

• Previous clinic nursing experience

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience as an RN. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
