Job Description of Roads & Highway Design Leader

We are currently seeking an experienced Roads & Highway Design Leader to join our client's dynamic engineering team in Dubai. This role is pivotal in leading infrastructure design projects, ensuring the highest quality standards in planning, execution, and compliance with international and regional engineering codes. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in roadway engineering and a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities of Roads & Highway Design Leader

Lead and oversee the design of roads and highways, from concept to final design stages.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
Review and validate engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
Ensure all designs comply with local and international standards and regulations.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.
Participate in design review meetings and provide technical guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges.
Support project bids and proposal development by contributing technical input and design methodologies.

Qualification Required for Roads & Highway Design Leader

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in roads and highway design.
Strong knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, or equivalent.
Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and RTA regulations is highly preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
