Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer with a minimum of 10 years experience.to join our dynamic construction team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal of roofing structures while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Duties

• Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials such as asphalt shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membrane roofing.
• Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs efficiently while minimizing disruption to clients.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute roofing projects.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely to cut, shape, and install roofing components.
• Conduct site assessments to determine project scope, materials needed, and safety requirements.
• Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment while following proper safety protocols.
• Coordinate with other construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or electrical teams to ensure seamless project completion.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating to accurately assess project costs and materials.
• Strong knowledge of roofing techniques along with experience in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, chisels) and power tools (nail guns, drills) essential for roofing tasks.
• Experience with construction site safety practices including fall protection and hazard mitigation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling roofing materials like shingles, metal sheets, or concrete tiles.
• Familiarity with related trades such as framing carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco application, welding, tile laying, masonry, and restoration work.
• Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing joints and preventing leaks; experience with metal stud framing or plumbing is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise installation or repair work.
• Experience working on diverse construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety compliance. Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
