Roofing Laborer

About the Role

Western Valley Construction is looking for a dependable, hardworking Roofing Laborer to join our growing team. This position involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of a variety of roofing systems. Commercial and Residential. You’ll work outdoors, learn valuable trade skills, and have room for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, repairing, and removing roofing materials (shingles, metal, tile, etc.)
• Load/unload tools, materials, and equipment
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely
• Follow instructions from lead roofers and supervisors
• Perform tear-offs and debris removal
• Work at heights, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions
• Comply with all safety standards and PPE requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a valid Real ID to apply
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable working at heights and performing physical labor
• Strong work ethic and punctuality
• Basic understanding of safety practices
• Ability to follow directions and work well on a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Not Required)

• Roofing or construction experience
• Familiarity with roofing tools and materials
• Ability to take accurate measurements
• Reliable transportation

Pay: $25.27 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
