Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor site safety plans, policies, and procedures as per statutory norms (BOCW, OSHA, NBC, IS Standards).
- Conduct risk assessment and identify hazards, and ensure corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety induction for new workers, and periodic safety training.
- Carry out regular site inspections for scaffolding, formwork, equipment, lifting tools & tackles, and working-at-height activities.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE and maintain records of PPE issue & stock.
- Prepare and maintain daily / weekly safety reports, checklists, incident logs, audit reports, and documentation.
- Monitor and control the Permit to Work System (Hot work, electrical work, excavation, confined space, height work, lifting operations, etc.)
- Investigate accidents, incidents, or near-misses, submit reports, and implement remedial measures.
- Ensure good housekeeping and safe working environment at site.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and management to ensure safety compliance.
- Conduct emergency preparedness drills and maintain first-aid & fire safety readiness.
- Ensure safety compliance of subcontractors and monitor their performance.
- Support implementation of ISO–45001 / OHS management system (if applicable).
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices & statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and provide practical solutions.
- Leadership and team coordination capabilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering.
- NEBOSH / IOSH / SAFETY DIPLOMA certification preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as Safety Officer / Safety Engineer in civil construction.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
