Safety Officer

Job Title: Safety Officer Experience: 14 Years Location: Kukatpally, Hyderabad Project Type: Mivan High-Rise Residential ConstructionJob Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor site safety plans as per statutory requirements and company safety standards.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety induction, and training for workers, including Mivan formwork teams.
• Perform regular site inspections to identify hazards related to high-rise activities—formwork, scaffolding, lifting operations, and height work.
• Ensure compliance with PPE usage and safety protocols across all construction zones.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with site engineers, execution teams, and subcontractors to enforce safety guidelines
• Maintain documentation such as checklists, permits (hot work, height work, confined space), and statutory records.
• Monitor safe material handling, equipment operations (cranes, hoists), and work area barricading.
• Assist in emergency preparedness planning, mock drills, and evacuation procedures.
• Ensure housekeeping standards and waste management practices are followed on-site.

Key Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Mivan shuttering safety requirements.
• Strong understanding of high-rise safety norms, scaffolding, lifting tools & tackles.
• Good communication and incident reporting skills.
• Ability to enforce safety discipline among workers and contractors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
