Safety Supervisor

Job Description

Electro-Mech Engineers is seeking a dedicated Safety Supervisor to support site safety activities and ensure compliance with safety norms and procedures. The candidate will assist the safety officer and project team in promoting a safe work environment across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring safety procedures at the project site.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, toolbox talks (TBT), and hazard identification.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, PPE usage, and safe work practices.
• Report unsafe conditions, near-misses, and support corrective action processes.
• Maintain safety checklists, documentation, permits, and daily reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, workers, and supervisors to ensure adherence to safety norms.
• Support the Safety Officer in training and awareness programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• DIS (Diploma in Industrial Safety) in AICTE recognised institute.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction/industrial safety
• Good understanding of safety protocols, site hazards, and compliance requirements

Skills Required:

• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and statutory norms
• Good communication skills for coordinating with site teams
• Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
