Job Overview

Trusted Driver is seeking a full-time Sales Account Executive based in the Dallas/Fort Worth (TX) Metropolitan Area or the Houston (TX) Metropolitan area. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business with law enforcement agencies, municipal courts, and city leadership teams. This role requires strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to speak confidently to Chiefs of Police, Sheriffs, Constables, Judges, and City Managers.

A background in law enforcement is helpful but not required. Previous experience in SaaS sales, public-sector sales, or city government environments is highly valuable.

Responsiblities

  • Develop relationships with law enforcement agencies, municipal courts, and city government officials in assigned Texas regions.
  • Conduct discovery calls, on-site visits, and product demonstrations showcasing the value of Trusted Driver's SaaS platform.
  • Understand agency workflows, operational challenges, and compliance needs to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting to closing - and maintain an active pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and onboarding teams to ensure smooth transition after contracts signing.
  • Attend conferences, regional meetings, and demos to represent the company.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide updates to leadership.
  • Must be willing to travel to San Antonio (TX) on a quarterly basis.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS sales, government solutions, public safety sales, or account management.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage regional travel, and build trusted relationships.
  • Comfortable speaking with Chiefs, Judges and City/County leadership.

Preferred

  • Experience selling to City/County government, municipal courts, or law enforcement agencies.
  • Background in law enforcement or public safety technology.
  • Existing Texas contacts in law enforcement or government sectors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
