About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and performance-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead and expand our business footprint across the South-East India zone. This role requires a passionate professional with a strong understanding of pharma manufacturing equipment, goods processing machinery, and custom-engineered solutions.

You will drive both inbound and outbound sales initiatives, build strong customer relationships, and champion our brand across the region. If you have a growth mindset, consultative selling skills, and a passion for delivering value-driven machinery solutions—this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership (Outbound & Inbound)

  • Drive revenue growth across the South-East region by identifying and developing new business opportunities in pharma, food, goods manufacturing, and related industries.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation, technical discussions, proposals, negotiations, and closures.
  • Convert inbound inquiries into qualified opportunities and ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to penetrate new accounts and expand regional market share.

Market Development & Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor competitor movement, pricing trends, and technology developments.
  • Identify emerging markets and customer segments for standard and customized machinery solutions.

Customer & Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and channel partners.
  • Conduct client visits, machinery presentations, technical demos, and on-site requirement studies.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through timely support, communication, and service coordination.

Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Develop regional marketing campaigns, trade show participation, product workshops, and digital marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
  • Prepare engaging sales collateral, case studies, and product presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to execute targeted promotional strategies.

Team & Operational Excellence

  • Lead and motivate regional sales teams to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM documentation.
  • Coordinate with design, production, and after-sales teams for customized machine requirements and timely deliveries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in pharma machinery, processing equipment, or capital goods.
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical/automation systems and ability to interpret customer requirements.
  • Proven track record in both inbound and outbound sales leadership.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and strategic execution capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the South-East region.

Pay: From ₹30,055.79 per month
