Sales Business Development Coordinator

As a family-owned business, we specialize in environmental safety and offer services such as asbestos, lead, mold, radon, microbiology, and other environmental services for residential, commercial, and institutional properties. We're looking for a motivated and talented Business Development Specialist to help elevate our brand, expand our client base, and contribute to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Client Engagement:
- This position will be a 70/30 split of 70% in the field with business development and 30% in the office. Drive one of our on-site company vehicles to and from job sites
- Generate new business opportunities through networking events, sponsorships, in-person meetings, lunches, referrals, business product presentations, conventions, etc.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and client referrals.
- Maintain effective client relations and offer exceptional customer service.
- Online Presence & Marketing:
- Assist teams in increasing our online profiles like Indeed, LinkedIn, and Google Business, ensuring all listings are up-to-date and accurate.
- Assist and help grow our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), developing creative and engaging posts to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Create and distribute email marketing campaigns to both clients and prospects.
- Community & Event Engagement:
- Organize and manage company events, including community outreach programs, client appreciation events, and training workshops.
- Administrative Support & Sales Reporting:
- Track and report on sales goals, lead generation efforts, and conversion rates, following up with a weekly meeting.
- Support marketing operations by managing Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and other office tools.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing or a similar role.
- At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with email marketing, client outreach, and event planning is a plus.
- A motivated, self-starter attitude with a passion for marketing and business growth.
