Function and Scope
Support the Chemical Sales Manager and Sales Team in a Co ordination / Administrative role but also to
produce Technical Proposals for the Industrial & Domestic water treatment markets.

Sales Support
- Provide a point of contact for sales engineers when they are out of the office
- Manage incoming enquiries by fax, telephone, post or via the chemicals@metito.com email address
routing enquiriesto the relevant person(s) in agreement with the CSM - Maintain filing to support the daily operation; assist the internal and external audit
- Update the Business Partner (BP) per Sales Engineer (SE) and send the updated information on Monthly
basis to CSM and BDM Fill courier forms on behalf of the department members - Assist in day to day follow up on administrative and documentation related issues to include Application
Quality - Plan development with Sales Engineers
Quotations / Proposals
- Prepare quotation for the BPs handled under your name and on behalf of other SEs as required
- Take non technical enquiries from customers and prepare proposals
- Coordinate the preparation of more complex tenders and proposals with other team members Contracts /
Filing - Keep record for all active annual contracts and notify the SE with the due for renewal contracts one
month prior to expiry date - Create sales order and annual contractsin INFOR (ERP System)
- Maintain enquiry/ proposal/ purchase order filing system and enquiry register database and Develop
- Process purchase orders and projects, including credit applications
- Specifically for INFOR ERP System:
- Annual Contract Creation / Renewals Sales
- Order Processing
- Ad Hoc Report Creation
Sales Co ordination
- Send store requests based on SEs requests
- Coordinate with Laboratory for bacterial and other samples collection, fill the analysis request from or
send email request mentioning the client name and project number
Bad Debt
- Follow up with Bad Debt, update CSM and BDM on Monthly basis about collection progress
- To review Bad Debt monthly reports from Finance and to create Monthly Summary for Chemicalsin the
standard format for the BDM - Assist sales engineers and finance department with collections
Reporting
- Note down the minutes of meeting for the regularsales meetings and prepare the presentation slides for
the coming meetings - Maintain enquiry/ proposal/ purchase order filing system and enquiry register database
- Collate data and assist with the preparation of reports as required by the Chemical Business Manager e.g.
monthly sales reports and sales performance analysis reports, etc. - Review Daily Contractor, Governmental Websites and allocate tenders to team
Customer Satisfaction
- Coordinate Customer Satisfaction Surveys with Sales Team
- Fully uses Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in line with Metito policy
General
- Attends meetings; prepares periodicalsales and other reports as directed
- Reviews proposals with Sales Engineers/ CSM both Technically and Commercially prior to issuing to the client, follows up and revisesthe proposal as necessary to meet the client s needs
- Receives and reviews the clients order ensuring it is in accordance with the proposal and that the client
needs are achievable - Performs any other work related duties as directed by the Chemical Sales Manager or Business
Development Manager
Competencies, Knowledge and Experience
- Local / Regional CSM, Sales & Service Engineers, Business Development Personnel, Technical Manager,
Industry/Product - Specialists, TSEs , Customers, BDM
Minimum number of years experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales coordinator role
- Previous experience of Technical Sales roles would be of benefit though not essential
- Experience in the Water Treatment industry would be an advantage
