Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales cum Outsourcing / Purchase Officer to support our general trading operations. The ideal candidate will handle sales inquiries, source products from international markets, manage supplier communications, and process purchase orders. Chinese language proficiency is highly preferred, as many suppliers and manufacturers are based in China.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up on sales leads.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with suppliers to match specifications.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely support.
• Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.

Outsourcing & Procurement Responsibilities

• Source products from both local and international suppliers, especially from China.
• Communicate with manufacturers, trading companies, and logistics partners.
• Request quotations, analyze prices, and negotiate favorable terms.
• Process purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, pricing, and product catalogs.
• Monitor market trends, new products, and supplier performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in sales, procurement, outsourcing, or general trading.
• Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is highly preferred for supplier communications.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of import/export processes, logistics, and documentation is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
