JOB DESCRIPTION
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities and generate sales enquiries. This involves both showroom and field visits, as well as networking with potential customers, financers, and bodybuilders.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal and coordinating the smooth delivery of the vehicle.
- Attend to walk-in customers, understand their needs, and provide detailed product information and appropriate vehicle/financing options. Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
- Achieve individual and dealership sales targets for volume and market share as per company goals.
- Participate in local marketing activities, customer meets, and promotional events organized by the dealership.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A Diploma, Graduate degree (B.E/B.Tech, B.Com, BBA) is typically required, with specialization in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or Sales & Marketing preferred.
- Experience requirements can range from 0-5 years, depending on the specific role (fresher vs. senior executive). Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle sales is highly valued.
- A strong technical knowledge of the product (passenger cars, commercial trucks, buses, etc.) is essential.
