Job Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer – Generator Sales with proven experience in the power generation sector. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of diesel generators, especially Perkins, Cummins, and Kirloskar, along with expertise in associated spare parts. This role focuses on driving generator sales, managing customer relationships, and expanding our market presence across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:1. Generator Sales:

• Develop and implement sales strategies for Perkins, Cummins, and Kirloskar diesel generators.
• Identify customer needs and provide tailored power generation solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across sectors.
• Deliver product presentations and proposals to potential clients.

2. Spare Parts Expertise:

• Advise clients on spare part compatibility, availability, and performance.
• Handle inquiries related to diesel and gas generator spare parts.
• Support after-sales service with spare parts recommendations and logistics.

3. Market Expansion:

• Conduct market research to identify opportunities in emerging markets and niche industries.
• Negotiate and close sales deals and contracts with customers and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain a customer database and sales pipeline.

4. Technical Knowledge & Support:

• Stay current with new generator models, industry trends, and technical advancements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver efficient, customer-focused solutions.
• Conduct demonstrations and provide in-depth technical explanations when required.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the power generation industry, with a focus on diesel generators and spare parts.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Perkins, Cummins, and Kirloskar generator systems, including diagnostics and part specifications.
• Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

Preferred Certifications:

• Certification or hands-on experience with generator systems and spare parts from Perkins, Cummins, Kirloskar, or other recognized manufacturers.
