Role Overview

Ducon Industries FZCO is seeking a motivated and technically strong Sales Engineer (Civil preferred) to support the R&D department through a combination of product training, market research, product knowledge development, and field-based insights.

The ideal candidate should have a strong civil/engineering background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly. This role requires someone who is self-driven, research-oriented, and passionate about learning new technologies and product trends. The Sales Engineer will help train employees, support new product development, and contribute to improving the product portfolio based on market demand and field gaps.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Technical Training

• Deliver structured product training to internal teams, installation staff, and external partners.
• Simplify technical concepts and explain product features, installation processes, and system configurations.
• Prepare and update training materials—manuals, guides, presentations, and demonstration videos.

Market Research & Product Development Support

• Conduct market studies to identify new product opportunities, competitors’ offerings, industry trends, and customer needs.
• Provide insights to the R&D team for the introduction of new products or improvement of existing ones.
• Collect field data, customer feedback, and installation challenges to support product design enhancements.
• Prepare reports on market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and potential product gaps.

Sales Engineering Responsibilities

• Understand and explain technical specifications of products.
• Support the sales team with product knowledge, technical clarifications, and solution recommendations.

Self-Learning & Research

• Continuously study market trends, new technologies, and emerging solutions relevant to Ducon’s product categories.
• Independently research installation methods, product performance standards, and global industry practices.
• Stay updated with new R&D developments and contribute ideas for product innovation.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure installation teams follow Ducon Industries’ standards and best practices.
• Work closely with R&D, Quality Control, Technical Support, and Operations teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (strongly preferred) or related engineering fields.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Engineer, Product Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience in training, product demonstrations, or installation support (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong research skills with the ability to study products, competitors, and market trends independently.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to create structured training material and reports.
• Willingness to visit sites for technical evaluations or training sessions.
