Sales Specialist & Flower Concierage Representative

We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Development Representative who thrives at generating new opportunities, supporting client success, and driving revenue across both Details Flowers Software and our Details Direct eShop.

This role goes beyond traditional SaaS sales. In addition to prospecting and closing new software clients, this associate will help florists optimize their workflows, identify feature and subscription upgrades, and proactively support their floral product purchasing needs through our eShop.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline Growth

  • Identify and source new prospects through outreach, research, and industry engagement
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads for software and eShop opportunities
  • Conduct discovery calls and product walkthroughs
  • Build rapport quickly and move prospects effectively through the sales funnel
  • Maintain accurate lead tracking, follow-up sequences, and sales forecasting

Subscription Optimization & Feature Adoption

  • Review client accounts to identify which features they are not using but would benefit from
  • Recommend plan upgrades, add-ons, and new tools based on business size and workflow
  • Educate clients on how to leverage features to increase efficiency and profitability
  • Collaborate with Client Success on onboarding when features or subscriptions expand
  • Track product feedback to help inform future development priorities

Client Satisfaction & Relationship Management

  • Maintain ongoing communication with prospects and active clients
  • Ensure clients feel supported, heard, and valued throughout their journey
  • Identify at-risk accounts early and engage with solutions-oriented outreach
  • Represent Details with professionalism and enthusiasm at conferences and industry events
  • Serve as a knowledgeable partner to florists through seasonal challenges and trends

Floral Concierge & eShop Revenue Acceleration

  • Identify clients who would benefit from using Details Direct for upcoming events
  • Proactively recommend floral products, varieties, and box options based on their event needs
  • Assist florists in optimizing their eShop carts (substitutions, seasonality, budget fit)
  • Provide personalized guidance on color palettes, farm options, and recipe quantities
  • Track purchasing patterns to uncover new eShop sales opportunities
  • Work closely with Marketing and Operations to highlight promotions, stocks, and trends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Maintain a full pipeline of qualified SaaS and eShop leads
  • Deliver compelling product demos and follow-up communications
  • Understand customer pain points and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Promote both software adoption and eShop purchasing activity
  • Document all sales activity within CRM and reporting tools
  • Participate in sales campaigns, conference outreach, and promotions
  • Serve as a brand ambassador that deeply understands the floral industry

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality
  • Outgoing, personable, and relationship-focused
  • Ability to learn floral product knowledge (or already has it)
  • Strong organizational and prospecting skills
  • Ability to identify customer needs and align them with product solutions
  • Comfortable multitasking across software and product sales
  • Positive, excited, and resilient attitude

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Floral industry background (designer, sales rep, wholesaler, event florist, wedding planner)
  • Prior SaaS sales or customer success experience
  • Bi-lingual
  • CRM experience
  • Familiarity with Apple products
  • Analytics or reporting experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
