Job Purpose:

To grow the revenue and market share for the Organization; to act as brand ambassador for the AD Ports Group and exhibit the values to both internal and external stakeholders; collaborate to drive value for the Group.


Key Responsibilities :


  • Prospect for leads and perform heavy cold-calling to build a pipeline of new businesses
  • Supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships
  • Explore ways of upselling to existing customers – collaborate with customer service or retention team to drive growth for existing customers
  • Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers
  • Responsible for driving sales performance individually and at a team level to reach and exceed monthly and annual targets
  • Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients
  • Closely collaborate with the Customer Service team to ensure smooth onboarding of clients and ensure satisfactory customer journey
  • Supervising service delivery up to completion to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • Carry out research to identify companies not currently doing business with the organization
  • Be aware of the competition for potential and new clients and feed that data to Commercial and strategy team regularly.
  • Scan market for existing rates of logistics services and provide feedback to the pricing team for necessary benchmarking
  • Contribute pro-actively to growth and product development plan regularly, and give feedback on product strengths and weaknesses based on market feedback.
  • Update daily activities and interaction with potential and existing clients in CRM
  • Prepare and share weekly contracted and pipeline revenue reports as per prescribed format with Manager
  • To interact professionally with counterparts, customers, sales, operations and management.
  • Work experience required: minimum 6 years of Experience in International Freight Forwarding, logistics, warehousing and distribution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in sales or account management roles within the logistics industry.
