We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Sales Tax Officer to manage all Sales Tax-related activities, including filing, reconciliation, compliance, and coordination with tax authorities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of FBR, PRA, SRB regulations and hands-on experience in tax documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales tax returns (FBR, PRA, SRB)
  • Maintain documentation of invoices, tax challans, tax ledgers, and records
  • Verify sales and purchase invoices for correct tax deductions and input tax credit
  • Assist during tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities
  • Reconcile sales tax data with accounting systems and prepare reports
  • Provide advice on tax applicability to sales, procurement, and accounting teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in sales tax compliance and filing
  • Knowledge of tax portals (FBR, PRA, SRB) and ERP or accounting software
  • Proficient in MS Excel and sales tax documentation
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
