SAP Consultant / Sr. Consultant – Basis

Experience: 3-5 years

Location: Pune / Chennai, India

Key Responsibilities :

• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Basis / ALM.
• Proven SAP Technical experience in a customer-facing role.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
• Design, customize, configure and testing.
• Act as a liaison between the client stake holders and the technical team.
• Candidate must have strong problem-solving skills, be self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
• Handle changes or emergency issues as needed for high priority issues.
• Detailed Documentation.
• Proactively identify technical issues and propose solutions / way forward.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.

Knowledge/Skills Required :

• Candidate should be Basis consultant having at least 3-5 years of experience in handling ECC/S4HANA on HANA,HP-UX / Linux & Windows.
• Should have sound knowledge of R/3 Basis and Netweaver ABAP Stack and SAP Fiori.
• HANA Installation and Administration experience.
• Assistance provided in at least mid-sized SAP installation / upgrades.
• Assistance provided in backup/recovery.
• SAP Basis administration Supports.
• Performance monitoring & tuning, Problem analysis & resolution, and other activities required to maintain system integrity.
• SAP administration on UNIX & Windows.
• System /System copy.
• ABAP+ Java-dual stack.
• Add-on and Support Pack application and troubleshooting.
• Kernel Upgrade.
• Client copy and export-import.
• TMS administration and configuration and troubleshooting Transport errors.
• SAP system monitoring and thorough analysis of issues.
• SAP parameter change, operation mode setup, Logon group setup.
• SAP Role based Authorization knowledge – Role creation and modification.
• Spool administration and troubleshooting spool/printer issues.
• OSS Note application.
• Administer the SAP database HANA, MSSQL, DB2, Oracle..
• Must be able work on shifts.
• Understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
• Zeal to learn new things and Team Player.

Qualifications Required :

• Degree or similar qualification.
• Certification/trainings preferably.
