SAP EWM Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to support ongoing project activities, enhancements, and operational improvements within the Supply Chain and Logistics function. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to deliver robust and scalable EWM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions to support warehouse operations (Inbound, Outbound, Internal Movements, Physical Inventory).
• Work with functional teams to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and translate business needs into system designs and functional specifications.
• Perform system configuration, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), and troubleshooting for EWM processes.
• Integrate EWM with SAP ECC/S4HANA, TM, and other logistics or automation systems where required.
• Support ongoing enhancements, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide production support, analyse issues, and propose effective resolutions.
• Prepare documentation including functional specs, configuration documents, training materials, and test scripts.
• Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure solutions align with global templates, industry standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with offshore/onshore developers and vendors for technical deliverables.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP EWM Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of Inbound, Outbound, RF processes, Putaway/Picking strategies, WOCR, Queue Management, Physical Inventory, and Warehouse Structure Setup.
• Experience in EWM-MFS or automation integration (optional but advantageous).
• Familiarity with integration points between EWM and SAP ECC/S4HANA.
• Experience in full project lifecycle: blueprinting, design, build, testing, go-live, and hypercare.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in SAP TM, MM, or LE modules.
• Exposure to S/4HANA Embedded EWM.
• Knowledge of FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, or 3PL warehouse environments.
