Job Description
- Analyse current SAP ECC6 configuration; modernise and optimise ABAP for S/4HANA (HCM focus)
- Develop and implement custom components using SAP clean core principles
- Interpret business requirements and functional models
- Lead initiatives to establish new design standards aligned with SAP low code approach
- Provide technical advice and conduct quality reviews on code, standards, and specifications
- Evaluate and update development strategies; align existing developments to new standards
- Design, develop, and guide testing for HCM solutions including security, reporting, workflows
- Tune and optimise HCM solution during S/4HANA conversion
- Offer expert design, development, and testing guidance across all HCM modules and components
- Ensure lifecycle maintenance and monitoring of HCM product solution

The Successful Applicant
Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting and developing large scale SAP HCM solutions (S/4HANA, ECC6)
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills in SAP HCM areas: Org Management, Payroll (Australian), HR FI/Co integration, Time Management, Personnel Admin, ESS/MSS Fiori Apps
- Experience with SAP workflow, especially flexible workflow in S/4HANA
- Extensive SAP ABAP programming and SAP workbench development in HCM context
- Skilled in formulating, documenting, and implementing technical specifications
- Strong written/oral communication and knowledge of current technical trends (systems integration, SOA)
Highly regarded skills:
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and award structures in Government
- Experience with integrated HR and rostering solutions
- SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA conversion projects
- 7-10 years' experience in complex, large business implementations
- Experience with functional/technical specifications, S/4HANA, Fiori, clean core principles, SAP Workflow
- Degree/postgraduate qualification in IT, accountancy/commerce, or business management
- Project experience with Prince2, ITIL, Agile, or SAFE methodologies
- Background in complex Government environments; ability to travel intrastate; healthcare sector experience
