Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP NetWeaver Consultant to manage, implement, and optimize SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Basis and NetWeaver administration , system upgrades, and troubleshooting complex SAP environments. This role involves working on high-availability systems, supporting production environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP NetWeaver systems and related components.
- Perform OS/DB migrations , system copies, and landscape optimization.
- Manage system upgrades (release upgrades, EhP upgrades, support packs).
Performance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct system health checks and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot issues related to SAP HANA, Oracle, SAP ASE, and MS SQL databases.
Backup & Recovery
- Implement backup and restore strategies for SAP systems.
- Ensure disaster recovery readiness and high availability (HA) configurations.
Integration & Documentation
- Maintain complex SAP landscapes involving multiple products.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for configurations and processes.
Collaboration
- Work with global teams on monitoring, alert processing, and proactive improvements.
- Participate in critical escalations and war rooms for major incidents.
Continuous Improvement Suggest system improvement plans for better performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in SAP Basis and NetWeaver administration .
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database , OS/DB migration, and clustering.
- Knowledge of backup/restore strategies across multiple databases.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Objects , Cloud monitoring , and UNIX/Linux environments.
Certifications
- SAP NetWeaver Certified Technology Consultant preferred.
- SAP HANA certification is an added advantage.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle critical escalations.
Education BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) .
Knowledge of network and storage basics .
Exposure to Agile methodologies .
