Role Introduction
This role is perfect for a detail-oriented SAP expert passionate about procurement optimization. You’ll own the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) lifecycle in SAP MM, configuring solutions, troubleshooting integrations, and driving enhancements to support end-to-end procurement in retail settings. In a fast-paced, project-driven position, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SAP best practices with business goals, ensuring seamless operations and compliance.
Requirements

Configure and optimize SAP MM modules for PTP processes (e.g., Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification) in ECC 6.0 IS-Retail and S/4HANA.

Lead end-to-end PTP lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional design, and implementation using ASAP methodology.

Manage integrations with FI/CO, OTC, WM, PLM, and external tools like Infor GT Nexus and EDI/IDocs.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), resolve production incidents, and provide 24x7 on-call support.

Write Functional Specification Documents, document configurations, and lead design workshops with stakeholders.

Ensure PTP compliance with SOX, audits, and internal controls; recommend process improvements for efficiency.

Collaborate with sourcing, finance, logistics, and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions.
Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on SAP experience, with at least 3 years focused on MM/PTP in IS-Retail or similar retail/manufacturing environments.

Proven expertise in SAP MM configuration for PTP (e.g., Inventory Management, Purchasing, Invoice Verification) and full lifecycle implementations.

Experience with SAP Workflow, Vendor Invoice Management (VIM by OpenText), and EDI functionality in PTP.

Strong knowledge of integrations with OTC, FICO, and external platforms (e.g., Infor GT Nexus preferred).

Demonstrated ability to write functional specifications, perform RCA, and handle production support.

Familiarity with SAP security roles, authorization objects, and S/4HANA (preferred).

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in CAR/S4 environments.
