Scaffolding Estimator

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Scaffolding Estimators to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating project requirements, and supporting both sales and operations in delivering competitive and technically sound proposals for scaffolding works.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and site requirements to prepare accurate scaffolding estimates.
• Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, material lists, and manpower requirements for scaffolding projects.
• Conduct site visits (when required) to evaluate scaffolding access, safety considerations, and technical challenges.
• Prepare and submit competitive quotations and technical proposals to clients.
• Coordinate with the engineering and operations teams to validate estimates and ensure feasibility.
• Maintain updated knowledge of material costs, market pricing, and supplier rates.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and assist the sales team in securing projects.
• Prepare project documentation, load calculations (if required), and method statements as needed.
• Ensure all estimates comply with safety standards, project specifications, and industry practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Scaffolding Estimator in construction, oil & gas, events, or industrial projects.
• Strong technical understanding of scaffolding systems (Cuplock, Ringlock, Tube & Clamp, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, structural layouts, and project specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and CAD knowledge is required
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety standards and scaffolding regulations.
