School Counsellor

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Child Psychology / Social Work.
• Additional certification or training in counselling, mental health, or child development preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience working as a school counsellor, student mentor, psychologist, or in a related role.
• Experience handling adolescent issues, career counselling, academic guidance, and emotional/behavioural support.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent psychology.
• Ability to provide individual and group counselling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to handle issues such as stress, peer pressure, bullying, emotional concerns, discipline, and academic problems.
• Good record-keeping, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators.

Pay: ₹15,151.97 - ₹20,000.00 per month
