Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic School Principal to lead the academic, administrative, and operational functions of the school. The ideal candidate must be able to create a positive learning environment, manage staff effectively, and ensure high educational standards and discipline across the institution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership
- Oversee academic planning, curriculum implementation, and teaching quality.
- Ensure effective lesson planning, assessments, and evaluation systems.
- Implement innovative teaching methodologies and modern learning practices.
- Monitor student performance and drive continuous improvement.
2. Staff Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise teachers and administrative staff.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, workshops, and performance reviews.
- Build a collaborative and supportive work culture.
3. School Administration
- Manage daily school operations, timetables, and schedules.
- Enforce school policies, rules, and disciplinary guidelines.
- Oversee exam planning, admissions, and parent communication.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE/ICSE/State Board standards (as applicable).
4. Student Development
- Promote holistic development: academics, sports, and extracurriculars.
- Address student concerns and maintain a safe, positive environment.
- Encourage participation in competitions, events, and activities.
5. Parent & Community Relations
- Maintain strong communication with parents and address queries.
- Conduct PTMs, orientations, and outreach programs regularly.
- Build partnerships with external educational bodies and vendors.
6. Strategic & Financial Planning
- Prepare budgets, manage school expenses, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Support school branding, admissions drives, and promotional activities.
- Improve school performance rankings and reputation.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with educational guidelines, audits, and statutory norms.
- Oversee safety measures, emergency protocols, and campus discipline.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education / School Administration / relevant field.
- Minimum 5–15 years of experience in teaching and school leadership.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage staff, handle pressure, and maintain discipline.
- Deep understanding of curriculum frameworks and school operations.
