Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to enhance our online presence and drive organic traffic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEO strategies, web analytics, and content optimization techniques.

This role involves improving existing Shopify website, optimize website performance, and implement effective SEO campaigns across various platforms, including e-commerce sites and content management systems like WordPress. The SEO Specialist will play a critical role in increasing visibility on search engines such as Google and Bing, leveraging tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and SEO tools to analyze data and refine strategies.

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms relevant to our industry and target audience.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, HTML tags, and images for improved search engine visibility.
  • Manage technical SEO aspects including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, schema markup, and URL structure enhancements.
  • Utilize SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz for site audits, backlink analysis, and competitive research.
  • Perform link building campaigns to enhance domain authority through quality backlinks.
  • Monitor website performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Google Tag Manager to analyze traffic patterns and user behavior.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and supports conversion optimization efforts.
  • Implement structured data markup (schema) to improve rich snippets in search results.
  • Assist in social media management by integrating social signals into overall digital marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in SEO, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing practices to continually refine strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SEO with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems such as WordPress.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools including Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics for data-driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with technical SEO aspects like site speed optimization, metadata creation, schema markup, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Strong keyword research skills combined with conversion optimization techniques.
  • Experience with link building strategies that adhere to best practices.
  • Ability to analyze data from various sources to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Knowledge of social media management as it relates to digital marketing campaigns is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
