BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field</li><li>5+ years of people management experience</li><li>Experience distilling informal customer requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives</li><li>Experience hiring and leading experienced scientists as well as having a successful record of developing junior members from academia or industry to a successful career track</li><li>10+ years as a scientist or science manager</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>PhD in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field</li><li>10+ years of practical work applying ML to solve complex problems for large-scale applications experience</li><li>Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language</li><li>5+ years of hands-on work in big data, machine learning and natural language processing</li><li>Experience with AWS technologies for machine learning like SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, and EC2</li></ul>

The base pay for this position ranges from $208,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $324,100/year in our highest geographic market.
