 Job Description
 
 
 
 As the Director of Marketing, you will serve as the strategic brand custodian for Raffles &amp; Fairmont Doha, ensuring that all marketing and communication efforts reflect the highest standards of the Accor brand at both global and regional levels. Acting as the key liaison with Accor&rsquo;s global and regional brand, marketing, and corporate communications teams, you will safeguard brand integrity while driving visibility, engagement, and commercial growth across all hotel offerings.
 
 
 In this leadership role, you will oversee the end-to-end development, execution, and performance of integrated marketing and communications strategies. This includes managing external agencies, cultivating high-value partnerships, and ensuring each campaign delivers measurable impact. Your strategic vision and operational excellence will help position the hotels prominently in both local and international markets, supporting key brand pillars such as luxury, innovation, sustainability, and community engagement.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Bachelor Degree in Marketing / Communications or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 8 years in Brand Management / Marketing Communications / Public Relations ideally within luxury hospitality or high-end lifestyle brands. Relevant experience in hospitality industry is an advantage.

 <li>
 Proven track record in multi-channel marketing, PR, brand partnerships, and agency management
 </li>
 <li>
 Verbal and written fluency in English. Due to the nature of the role, proficiency in Arabic language is requied.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with global brand standards, preferably in an international hospitality group
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of luxury branding, consumer behavior, and market positioning across GCC and global markets
 </li>
 <li>

<ul><li>Maximizes advertising budget by ensuring that the hotel's creative message and media activities are consistent with the advertising of sister hotels and the company group advertising.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensures that the advertising creative is in synergy with the company, projecting a consistent and quality message.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Reviews the hotel's market segmentation and other appropriate marketing reports to ensure that the media scheduling matches those segments.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitors and maintains media schedules as well as prompt settlement of accounts.</li></ul> 
Managing Direct Marketing Activities
<ul><li>Takes an integrated approach to DM activities, ensuring a consistent and quality image is projected.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists the DOM in the planning, implementation and tracking of electronic marketing activities.</li></ul>

The Director of Marketing will oversee all marketing planning and execution strategies for the hotel. They will develop and implement comprehensive communication and marketing plans to elevate the property's prestigious identity, ultimately driving revenue growth. 
 
What will I be doing?
As the Director of Marketing, you will oversee all marketing planning and execution strategies for the hotel. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing comprehensive branding and marketing initiatives, including budgeting, social media, website management, digital and print advertising, collateral, video and photography assets, and public relations. Your goal is to maximize exposure, drive revenue growth, and increase market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop &amp; Implement Marketing Strategies
<ul><li>Create strategic marketing and PR plans in collaboration with the General Manager, Commercial Manager, and Director of Revenue Management.</li>
<li>Establish annual, monthly, and segment-specific marketing budgets.</li>
<li>Leverage competitive data, demand analysis, and market mix management to inform deployment strategies across print, digital, and social media channels.</li>
</ul>Drive Revenue &amp; Brand Awareness
<ul><li>Develop and execute short- and long-term media and marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and increase revenue. 
Work with on-property and regional revenue management teams to develop targeted promotions and offers.</li>
</ul>Lead Marketing Execution &amp; Team Management
<ul><li>Guide internal marketing teams and external suppliers to execute marketing plans that align with business objectives. 
Ensure commercial efforts are aligned across all hotel departments.</li>

</ul>What are we looking for?
We are seeking an innovative and results-driven individual who can develop and implement effective marketing strategies to elevate the hotel's brand and commercial success. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, creative, and possesses a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
<ul><li>At least 2 years of experience in a senior marketing role, preferably in the hospitality sector</li>
<li>Proven experience in brand positioning, digital marketing, and revenue-driven strategies</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of the local market and its competitive landscape</li>
<li>Experience in a luxury hospitality brand, with a strong understanding of premium guest expectations and brand storytelling</li>
<li>Strong leadership skills, with experience managing internal teams and external agencies</li>
<li>Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including SEO, PPC, social media, CRM, and email marketing</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments</li>
