 The Staff Environmental Scientist will work with the office&rsquo;s Natural &amp; Cultural Resources group within our Environmental Services Global Practice to perform the following duties:

   Perform wetland delineations with strict adherence to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers protocol and procedures
  </li>
  <li>
   Complete field investigations that may include habitat evaluations for threatened and endangered species and/or evaluation of other potentially sensitive resources
  </li>
  <li>
   Compose technical reports presenting results from field investigations and develop appropriate applications/consultations necessary for various regulatory approvals.
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct permit compliance tasks, federal/state/local permit applications, agency consultations
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist project manager with field-oriented tasks, project permit tracking, agency consultations
  </li>
  <li>
   Office related tasks would include report writing, QA/QC review, assistance with compliance related tasks
  </li>

   Frequent overnight travel to field locations may be required (50-70%)

   Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Botany, Soil Science or a related accredited program is required

   4 years of relevant professional experience is required. Environmental consulting experience is preferred.

   Experience in completing field investigations, wetland assessments, associated permitting, analyzing GIS data; preparing environmental assessments and permitting documents, technical writing
  </li>

   Demonstrated knowledge of wetlands and aquatic resources
  </li>

   Demonstrated knowledge of Section 404, 401 and Section 10 permitting required
  </li>

   Knowledge of state and local permitting processes in the Midwest

</b></p><ul><li>Manage and mentor Buyers by providing training, coaching, and feedback while fostering team collaboration to improve workflows, compliance, and vendor partnerships.

</li><li>Manage supplier relationships by overseeing compliance and profile accuracy, leading negotiations for critical goods and services, and resolving escalated delivery or payment conflicts.
</li><li>Ensure the Purchasing team's effective use of ERP systems, collaborating with system administrators to enhance automation features and using analytics tools to monitor procurement KPIs, supplier performance metrics, and cycle times.
</li><li>Ensure procurement compliance with policies and regulations, while monitoring and reporting KPIs and performance trends to senior management to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across departments to address purchasing needs, resolve escalated issues, and ensure procurement objectives remain aligned with business goals.
</li><li>Standardize procurement practices across the organization by implementing best practices that enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk management.
</li></ul><p><b>What You Will Need:
</b></p><p>Education and Experience
</p><ul><li>Requires 7 years of procurement/purchasing experience, including 3+ years managing procurement teams.
</li><li>Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Procurement System or similar ERP is required.
</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
</li></ul><p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
</p><ul><li>Strong leadership and team management skills, including mentoring and performance management.
</li><li>Deep understanding of ERP procurement modules (e.g., Oracle Fusion), including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Supplier Management, and Reporting.

</li><li>Proficiency in analyzing procurement data, generating insights, and driving cost reductions.

<li>Primary activities include economic valuation and analysis of proposed organic projects for Boardwalk Pipelines</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with commercial, system planning and engineering groups to understand project opportunity, assumptions, and key issues to develop a thorough economic analysis.</li>
<li>Support acquisition activities including opportunity screening & research; target company financial review; market fundamentals analysis associated with target company industries; economic valuation of the target company; due diligence</li>
<li>Preparation and communication of analytical work and investment approval documents to Boardwalk Senior Management.</li>
</ul>
<b>REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:</b><br>
<ul>
<li>Strong experience in financial valuation/analysis</li>
<li>Strong analytical, logical and economic thinking skills</li>
