<div><p>We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team based on site in Leicester. The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical / mechanical plant and equipment. You will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of mechanical / electrical equipment to SFG20 standards. These will include HVAC systems, UPS Systems, RCD testing, PAT, Lighting, LEV&rsquo;s and fume cupboards, Boilers and Air Compressors</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.</li>
<li>Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.</li>
<li>Keep detailed records of maintenance activities using a CMMS.</li>
<li>Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory management for critical spares.</li>
<li>Responsible for co-ordination of contractors including issue of Permit to Work.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.</li>
<li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.</li>
<li>Support black building testing and respond to alarms via the Trend BMS</li>
</ul>
<p>Skills and Experience</p>
<ul><li>Previous experience within a similar role.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Strong communication and teamwork abilities.</li>
</ul>
<p>Specific Qualifications</p>
<ul><li>City &amp; Guilds/NVQ - Electrical Installation / Maintenance or equivalent</li>
<li>City &amp; Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE</li>
<li>Time served apprenticeship or equivalent training</li>
<li>A demonstrable knowledge of building services engineering</li>
<li>Testing and Inspection certification = desirable</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience of BMS, generator, control, lighting systems, and ACOPS L8.</li>
<li>IPAF/PASMA Beneficial</li>

</div></div></div></div><div></div><div><div><div><div><div>Working for Waukesha Bearings, a part of Dover Precision Components, as a Skilled CNC Operator, you will be part of a fully integrated Computer Aided Manufacturing facility, utilising CNC machining centres for turning, milling and grinding operations to produce customised designs from a variety of steel grades, copper, brass, aluminium and bronze.</div>
<p>
The facility has a broad range of multi-axis machine tools, lathes, mills, grinders and associated equipment, The workload being a high-mix of customised fluid-film bearings, seals and isolators with typical applications in turbo and industrial machinery, where we are supplying customers throughout Europe and further afield.</p>

Annual Salaries:</b> 37 hour working week, Monday to Friday. Permanent Employment Contracts.</div>

<li>&pound;44,919.62 for weekly rotating shift pattern of early (6am) and backshifts (2pm) OR;</li>
<li>&pound;52,452.37 for working on night shift.
</li></ul><ul><li>These rates are inclusive of shift premium. Additional benefits inc. productivity bonuses, employer pension contrib. up to 13%, life insurance and 25 days holiday. Plus, attractive overtime rates.</li></ul><br>

What You Will Bring</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Time-served apprenticeship in a machining discipline or SVQ/NVQ level 3 or HNC in Mechanical Engineering</li>
<li>A minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience operating CNC machine tools within a lean-manufacturing work environment</li>
<li>Established milling, grinding or turning experience utilising multi-axis machine tools, ideally Correa and/or Doosan or similar</li>
<li>Experience working with machine control systems such as Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhaim or Haas</li>
<li>Proven ability to hold tight machining tolerances of less than .0025mm</li>
<li>Experienced with precision inspection equipment including, but not limited to, micrometres, callipers, height gauges and bore gauges</li>
<li>Ideally with experience in the power generation, oil &amp; gas, aerospace or similar environment</li></ul><br>

<li>Read process sheets, blueprints and sketches of part to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up and operating requirements</li>
<li>Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system</li>
<li>Interpret work instructions, identify, select and install proper tooling for operations being performed</li>
<li>Calculate proper feeds and speeds for a variety of steel grades, copper, brass, aluminium and bronze</li>
<li>Read, understand, edit or write complete programs</li>
<li>Intuitively understand capabilities of tooling and machinery</li>
<li>Understand applicable quality systems and perform necessary quality inspections</li>
<li>Visually inspects final components</li>
<li>Perform boxing of parts to include cleaning, oiling, wrapping and boxing the final product for shipment</li>
<li>Perform cleaning, fitting, filing, tapping, reaming, blending, polishing and aligning to ensure free action of movable parts and operating requirements</li>
<li>Use precision measuring instruments and gauging devices and performs various quality inspection type procedures to include dimensional verification</li>
