<div>We are seeking talented, disciplined, and motivated postdoctoral fellows with training and experience in one or more of the following: behavioral science, social science, psychology, and/or health services research, and a track record of peer-reviewed publications. Research areas of interest include cancer prevention and control, cancer health disparities, physical activity promotion, community engaged research, and implementation science.

The position is at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Health Disparities Research Department (HDR) of the Division of Cancer Prevention &amp; Population Sciences in Houston, TX. Under the mentorship of Dr. Scherezade Mama, the fellow will engage in cutting-edge research aimed at understanding and addressing health disparities in cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship. The fellow will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary research team and will contribute to various aspects of the research process, including but not limited to study design, participant recruitment and retention, data collection and analysis, community engagement, and dissemination of findings through publications and presentations at national and international scientific meetings and local and regional community events.<br>
This fellowship offers a unique opportunity for the fellow to develop their own research agenda related to health disparities research and cancer prevention and control, with access to extensive resources and support from MD Anderson. The fellow will have the potential to leverage existing funding to apply for additional grants and supplements.<br>
<br>

<b>LEARNING OBJECTIVES</b><br>
<ul><li>Planning, organizing, coordinating and participating in scientific research projects.</li><li>Work closely with PI and Research Manager to manage personnel tasks.
</li><li>Work closely with PI to determine specific goals or objectives to be obtained for each research project and evaluate research data, develop, and revise techniques or approaches to work problems.
</li><li>Develop and/or recommend program intervention, prevention, and/or control strategies.
</li><li>Provide expertise and services on behavioral research-related issues, data management, analysis, and interpretation.
</li><li>Provide experience-based recommendations and research direction as requested on other studies conducted by, or on the behalf of, the PI.
</li><li>Conduct research activities (extensive literature reviews) and edit reports, presentations, and other documents.</li><li>Present findings of research projects to professional groups and prepare scientific documents for publication.</li></ul><br>

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS</b><br>
<ul><li>PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Public Health, Health Behavior, Health Education or Promotion, Community Health Practice, Community Psychology, Epidemiology, Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, or a related field.; or is currently enrolled in a doctoral degree program and will have fulfilled all degree requirements prior to beginning the postdoctoral fellowship

Postdoctoral Fellow 2

<div><p>A Post-Doctoral Fellow position is available in Dr. Chih-Chi Andrew Hu&rsquo;s laboratory with a research focus on Immune Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Drug Discovery. This position focuses on the study of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-associated stress signaling molecules and their roles in survival, metastasis and chemoresistance of cancer. A key component of this effort is the identification and development of small molecules and peptides targeting the ER stress response pathways for the treatment of cancer. We are especially interested in candidates who are in the final stage of their doctoral training and have a strong background in protein chemistry (molecular cloning and column chromatography) and in the development of new biochemical assays during doctoral training. Applicants with experience in structural and chemical biology are desirable. The Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a full-time postdoctoral associate to support an ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) analysis of the NSF funded study &ldquo;Integrating Human-Derived Neural Networks and AI for Information Processing in Brain Organoids&rdquo; under the supervision of Dr. Melanie Jeske. This project is a multi-year collaboration between researchers at the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA), and University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and Baylor College of Medicine.</p><p></p><p><br>

<ul><li>Apply clean-lab chemical preparation and thermal-ionization mass spectrometry (TIMS) techniques to the measurement of stable and radiogenic isotope ratios across a wide variety of natural and experimental samples and
