Secondary ELA Teacher

Rockdale County Public Schools in Conyers, Georgia is currently looking for Middle and High School ELA teachers for the 25/26 school year.

Requirements:

ELA Teacher
The preferred candidate currently holds a teaching certificate in ELA or English (4-8 or 6-12) issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and has already passed the GACE in Middle Grades ELA or English (6-12).

Consideration will be given to applicants enrolled in the teacher certification process or those holding a content related bachelor's degree willing to enroll in a teacher certification program.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for secondary English Language Arts (ELA) students.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students to enhance literacy skills and comprehension.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum with educational standards and goals.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $51,212.00 - $110,000.00 per year
